Man-Cave Greebay Packers Mural

Hello
This is me in a nutshell. Born in the United States and moved to Canada where I currently reside with my wonderful family in a small town in Northern Ontario. Being raised in the city all my life, I never thought I would get used to living in such a remote area, but I surprised myself when I realized this is where I am meant to be.

Art has always been present in my life starting at the young age of 3 years old when I made Bert and Ernie out of play dough and they looked just exactly like them.

I would love to hear your ideas and look forward to creating a memorable visual experience for my clients.
My Story
As a shy young child, I discovered that I had a gift of creating art. Starting out practicing for hours and hours drawing various animals, unicorns, perfecting my sketches of Garfield and Oodie, I improved my skills tremendously. Some were even fridge - worthly!

My escape has always been my art. It's where I can loose myself in the whole process of creating a great piece!
High School was rough for me and I wanted to be anywhere but there. It wasn't until I received first prize in a drawing contest that my art really blossomed.

College was such a fantastic experience! No longer was I the quiet, shy kid, but instead really allowed myself to emerge out of my shell. The first year of college I took Art Fundamentals. A general art course that would help me develop my portfolio to the point where I would be able to move forward and apply for Classical Animation. I worked so hard that first year that I was able to get into the Classical Animation course. From that point on I maintained an exceptional work ethic to get all of my assignments in on time. This was a high pressure, demanding course but I persevered and was able to graduate from Year 1, even after being hit by a car my last 2 months of school. Yes, you heard that right, I was hit by a car crossing the street to catch the bus to school. Needless to say, I didn't continue with school the following year, but I took a year off to regroup and figure out which direction I wanted to take and of course, to save some money for my return.

When I did enroll back into college, I decided to focus on Illustration as a career. Fast forward 3 years, and there I am standing on the stage receiving my college diploma in Illustration!

Not long after graduating, I landed a job in Toronto, ON working in the print/film/advertising industry. This was just a start, years later I had amazing opportunities come my way. Children's book illustrations, spot illustrations for magazines, various logo designs, illustrating a comic book and all the while working on my own creations on the back-burner.

Now I work for an amazing company where I can implement my design skills even further. Not only do I use Adobe Suite Software, video editing software, Wordpress web design, and lots of social media content for our various locations. I consider myself very fortunate and although life has thrown me a lot of curve balls, I kept moving forward on my goals. And there are still so many goals I would love to reach!

Thanks for reading my story!

This is me today... still young at heart.
